Main lines of research

I am specialized in research policy, in particular policy formation and implementation, in Sweden and in other countries. I have also studied research organization, especially the management of large-scale research groups, as well as leadership and organizational change within the academic system. This has also included a number of evaluation tasks, for universities and funding organizations. Another important area in my work is the sociology of welfare and growth policies, especially the interaction between the regulation of welfare and the dynamics of an open and advanced economy.
