Johan Östling är postdoktor vid Forskningspolitiska institutet under 2010. Han blev filosofie doktor i historia med avhandlingen Nazismens sensmoral: Svenska erfarenheter i andra världskrigets efterdyning (Atlantis) 2008.
Johan Östling is a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Policy Institute in 2010. In 2008 he received his Ph.D. in history by defending his dissertation, Nazismens sensmoral: Svenska erfarenheter i andra världskrigets efterdyning (Atlantis; “The Lessons of Nazism: Swedish Experiences in the Wake of the Second World War”).
Postdoktorprojektet rör Humboldttradtionens förvandlingar och universitetets i idé under 1900-talet, med tonvikt på den västtyska efterkrigstiden. För en presentation se ”Humboldts testamente: Presentation”.
