Post doc
The Research Policy institute wishes to hire a postdoctoral researcher to conduct research in the field Research Policy or the Governance of Public Sector R&D. We are especially interested in research projects focused on inter alia, the role of public research funding in promoting innovation; the governance of universities, how do new knowledge fields emerge and to what extent do public policy measures promote/hinder the establishment of new fields. The postdoc position is a fixed term position for two years. Duties will be research (80%) and research administration and/or teaching (20%)

Phd Degree in the Social Sciences or equivalent, Good writing skills, ability to work independently The successful candidate will have extensive international experience, including experience of work and study at a non-Swedish institution of higher education; a relevant and viable research plan; other results and distinctions which attest to the applicants ability to do research; ability to engage and inform society at large about research.
Applicants are requested to submit a CV as well as a short project description of 5-8 pages outlining the project they propose to pursue if they should be awarded the position. The project description should include the research problem, an outline of the theoretical and methodological approach proposed and a timeline. Eligible applicants will already hold a PhD degree and should not have graduated more than three years before application. This three year limit can be extended for parental leave, illness or similar events occurring after graduation.
